We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide medical leadership within interdisciplinary teams, supporting the delivery of mental health assessments and management for young people.

  • Provide expert medical leadership, contributing to the development and implementation of mental health services for children and adolescents.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care for young people and their families, empowering them to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities, driving excellence in service delivery.

Requirements
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent.
  • Advanced Certificate of Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Current NSW driver's license.
