About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Services Companion to join our team. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

\

- Provide high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity at all times.
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, demonstrating empathy and respect in all interactions.
- Participate in and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each resident.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care services and effective communication.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
    \
  • 6 months aged care experience (preferably in a residential setting)
    \
  • Strong understanding of the 8 new quality standards in aged care
    \
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues
    \
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of others
