This role is for a manager to join our Financial Crime Operations team. They will lead a quality control team that focusses on maintaining high standards of work and managing financial crime risks.
">As a manager, you will oversee the quality and performance of your team in a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for ensuring strong operational cadences and compliance with Group policies and processes.
">The Financial Crime Operations team leads the approach to managing Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) and Sanctions risks and obligations. The team provides operational services such as Transaction Monitoring (TM), Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD), Sanctions & KYC.
">- Act discreetly and confidentially to protect Group policies and processes.
- Build relationships with stakeholders including peers, leaders, QA and L1 Risk partners, FCC and technology delivery teams.
- Review and address quality issues, ensuring timely completion of rework or remediation.
- Take accountability for team performance and targets, participating in forums and delivering action plans.
- Provide input to new or changing Group AML/CTF Policies, Standards or FCO Standard Operating Procedures.
- Execute control assurance testing and prepare closure packs.
Requirements include extensive experience in people leadership and management, coaching, and getting the best out of team members. Experience in fast-paced environments, regulatory operations, and data analysis is preferred.
