About the Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Tester to join our team. As a Performance Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance test plans and test cases for Big Data, Payments solutions, and multi-cloud applications.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop non-functional requirements for new and old platforms
  • Implement performance tuning solutions and roadmap for the platform
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to implement performance improvements
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Manage batch processes and scheduling using Control-M scheduler

Key Skills and Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • At least 6-10 years of experience with Information Technology
  • Tertiary qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Experience in custom coding in Java to build custom tools
  • Hands-on experience in various performance tuning tools
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of performance test plans and test cases
  • Oversee the analysis of performance test results to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for optimization
  • Mentor and guide team members on performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices

Work Environment

  • Utilize Microsoft Azure PaaS services, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Spark, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake (Azure ELZ) for performance testing and optimization
  • Work with Cloudera Big Data technologies, Payments, Channel, Kafka, microservices Teradata, and Oracle to assess and enhance performance

  • Candidate should have experience in custom coding in Java to build custom tools
