About the Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume a key leadership role, focusing on stakeholder engagement and government relations. This is a high-profile position that offers the opportunity to influence energy sector engagement at a national level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice to senior executives and stakeholders on government relations and engagement priorities.
  • Draft and coordinate briefings, correspondence, and reports that are accurate, timely, and aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Lead and manage stakeholder engagement initiatives, including high-level liaison with Ministers, government agencies, industry, and consumer advocates.
  • Take a strategic approach to building and maintaining effective relationships across internal teams and external partners.
  • Support the development and delivery of communications and engagement plans.
About You
  • We are looking for a motivated professional with demonstrated experience in government relations and stakeholder engagement, ideally in a Federal or State Government setting.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality advice and briefings under tight time frames.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships at the senior executive level, with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • A proactive, strategic mindset, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
