High-Profile Stakeholder Engagement Professional Sought for Government Relations Role

Job Description:

Randstad is seeking a high-profile stakeholder engagement professional to join the Stakeholder Engagement and Government Relations team in a Federal Government Department. The successful candidate will provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders, manage government relations initiatives, and support the Departments Chair, Board, and CEO's external relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders on stakeholder engagement and government relations.
  • Manage government relations initiatives and support the Departments Chair, Board, and CEO's external relationships.
  • Lead direct engagement with senior executives and collaborate with teams across the agency.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Ministers, government, market bodies, and industry advocates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in providing strategic advice on stakeholder and government relations, exceptional written communication skills, and proven experience in managing senior executive relationships with key stakeholders. They must also possess strong interpersonal skills, flexible problem-solving skills, and the ability to collate and analyze information to make timely and effective decisions.
