About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Brisbane. As an Assistant Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our childcare services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and services to our children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Service Coordinator with the development and implementation of programs and services
  • Support the management of a team of Educators, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including child safety and wellbeing
  • Undertake administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Work collaboratively with families and the school community to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum of Diploma in Children Services)
  • Experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Positive Notice Blue Card
