As a Strategic Residential Investment Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our residential living asset class. Your primary objective is to ensure the effective deployment of capital to maximize returns.
The Opportunity- Monitor economic and regulatory conditions to identify new opportunities and manage risk.
- Manage the collation of market intelligence and strategic research to formulate and regularly update a targeted national acquisition strategy.
- Review and contribute to the annual asset class review, ensuring strategies remain robust and effective.
- Lead transaction due diligence, reviewing complex financial models from joint venture partners.
- Conduct detailed financial modelling of property and capital level inputs, making recommendations on deal structures based on opportunity and risk sensitivity analysis.
- Assist with managing external consultants for independent due diligence and preparing project plans and investment memoranda for consultant review and Board approval.
- Participate in the monitoring of joint venture investments, manage the procurement of independent valuations, and assist with internal and external reporting, including preparing Board papers as required.
- You should have advanced financial modelling skills and a solid understanding of residential property development finance fundamentals.
- You must be able to navigate residential property development risks, acquisition pricing, and deal structuring complexities.
- Your strategic capabilities, including drive to deliver results, business acumen, and sound judgment, will be crucial in this role.
