  • As a key member of our residential living investment team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality results for our members.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • You will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the Hostplus Residential Living investment team.
  • You will assist in structuring joint venture arrangements, including preparing term sheets, conducting legal due diligence on prospective partners, and negotiating joint venture and associated service agreements.
  • You will also assist in portfolio management through the review of material contracts, oversight of disputes, and provision of timely, commercial legal advice.

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Demonstrated experience (at least 5 years PQE), working as a property development lawyer and/or corporate transactional lawyer with property law experience.
  • Experience negotiating joint venture agreements associated with property development.
  • The ability to take a frontline role in complex, often time-pressured investment transactions.
  • Strong project management skills including workstream prioritisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills required to manage internal and external relationships.
  • Works well with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrates sound judgement as well as structured thought.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, and willing to take the initiative.
