Electronic Device Technician Role

This is a challenging position that involves providing trade-related tasks associated with the maintenance and repair of electronic devices in various settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults, testing, and repairing electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain electronics equipment such as radios, optical instruments, navigational aids, laser range-finding equipment, electro-optical systems, electro-hydraulic systems, and radar systems
  • Maintain and repair high-frequency radio systems to a medium level of repair, using a facility
Requirements
  • Hold a recognised trade Certificate III in electro-technology communications or a similar electronics discipline
  • Demonstrate the ability to possess competencies in computer IT applications
  • Possess demonstrated competencies in MILIS, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite
