Job Opportunity

This is a rewarding role where you can bring your extensive experience to excel in our team. We support trading by building and maintaining parts of the internal electronic trading platform.

Responsibilities

  • Implement complementary services for the electronic trading function such as analytics, monitoring and reporting using Python skills.
  • Develop an understanding of trading logic and performance criteria to enable you to implement these services to teams.
  • Continuously enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability using best practices and efficient data handling.
  • Ensure all development complies with regulatory standards, embedding auditability, monitoring, and control mechanisms as appropriate.
  • Enhance domain knowledge to satisfy your interest in markets.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python, with an understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Understanding of performance, reliability, availability, and testability requirements for software design.
  • Experience developing, maintaining and supporting production-grade systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliverables independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Curiosity and desire to learn about financial markets.
