Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled software professional to join our electronic trading platform in the development of cutting-edge technology.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to utilize your extensive experience and contribute to the success of the project, driving growth through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support electronic trading by building and maintaining robust parts of our internal platform.
  • Utilize Python skills to implement complementary services for the electronic function such as analytics, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Develop a deep understanding of trading logic and performance criteria to enable you to implement these services to trading teams.
  • Continuously enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability using best practices and efficient data handling.

E nsure all development complies with regulatory and industry standards, embedding auditability, monitoring, and control mechanisms as appropriate.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python, with an understanding of object-oriented programming principles; experience with Java or other OO languages is a plus.
  • Understanding of performance, reliability, availability, and testability requirements for software design.
  • Experience developing, maintaining and supporting production-grade systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliverables independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Curiosity and desire to learn about financial markets and electronic trading.
  • Knowledge of data science or time series data modeling is advantageous.
