Senior Accountant

About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our Business Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and BAS;
  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships;
  • Researching and advising on tax issues;
  • Mentoring junior staff and managing workflow;

The ideal candidate will have a degree in commerce or accounting, and/or equivalent experience in public practice, finance or a related field. They will also have a strong compliance focus, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns;
  • Managing client relationships and expectations;
  • Providing expert advice on tax and accounting matters;
  • Leading and mentoring junior staff;
