Guest Service Ambassador

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Service Ambassador to join our team at Meriton Suites in Melbourne. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Warm and Authentic Service: Be the face of Meriton Suites and warmly welcome all guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Champion Meriton Suites Products and Services: Champion our products and services, as well as local attractions and events, to provide recommendations and assist with general enquiries.
- Ensure Smooth Delivery of Authentic Service: Handle any concerns and ensure the smooth delivery of authentic service, maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
- Build Relationships: Build and strengthen relationships with new guests and Meriton Suites' brand advocates to secure returning stays.
- Communicate Effectively: Effectively communicate and liaise with all departments to ensure the comfort, security, and safety of our guests, as well as their enjoyment during their stay.
- Maintain Public Areas: Monitor public areas to ensure Meriton Suites standards are maintained.
- Organize Luggage Storage and Delivery: Organize luggage storage and delivery, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
- Assist with Front Desk Duties: Assist with Front Desk check-ins, check-outs, and telephone duties when necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment.
- Knowledge of Local Area: Knowledge of the local area, including transport and attractions.
- Impeccable Grooming and Presentation: Impeccable grooming and presentation, with a warm and people-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to Work in a Team Environment: Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure, with full availability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
