Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Experience Ambassador to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every interaction with our guests is memorable and exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Check-in and Check-out: Ensure a seamless and efficient check-in and check-out process for all guests, including verifying guest identities, processing payments, and providing accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries, resolving issues, and exceeding guest expectations through proactive and personalized service.
  • Front Office Operations: Assist with the smooth operation of the Front Office, including managing the front desk, handling guest requests, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with guests, colleagues, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that every guest leaves the hotel satisfied and eager to return.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front office procedures, guest service standards, and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
