Foxiegames is seeking a skilled and adaptable Art Manager to enhance our asset production workflow. The Art Manager will collaborate closely with the Art Lead, Creative Director, and technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality art tailored for our gaming projects.

Desired Experience:

While studio experience is preferred, it is not essential if you possess the necessary skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with external outsourcing partners to create characters, textures, UI, and both 2D and 3D assets that align with the artistic vision of our games.
  • Facilitate clear communication between project leads, technical teams, and artists throughout the process from concept to asset delivery.
  • Contribute to the establishment of an artistic direction for our mobile game titles.

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to realize a creative vision effectively.
  • Exceptional skills in composition and color, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with various forms of game art, including 2D, 3D, UI, animation, and visual effects.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and take responsibility for the development of art assets.
  • Assist in the integration of assets into production projects.
  • Willingness to engage hands-on with tools such as Photoshop, Maya, and Max.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and architectural design.
  • Ability to apply diverse visual styles effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to providing constructive feedback.

Bonus Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Unity3D, including lighting, material setup, and animation workflows.
  • Experience in mobile game development.
  • Familiarity with the development of quadruped characters.

Successful candidates will work from our office at GamePlus Adelaide. Salary will be determined based on experience.
