Foxiegames is seeking a skilled and adaptable Art Manager to enhance our asset production workflow. The Art Manager will collaborate closely with the Art Lead, Creative Director, and technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality art tailored for our gaming projects.

Desired Experience:

Experience in a studio environment is preferred but not essential if you possess the requisite skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with external outsourcing partners to create tailored characters, textures, UI, 2D/3D assets, and other visual elements that define our games.
  • Facilitate clear communication between project leads, technical teams, and artists from initial concept through to asset delivery.
  • Contribute to establishing a cohesive artistic vision for our mobile titles.

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to realize a creative vision effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for composition and color.
  • Familiarity with various forms of game art, including 2D, 3D, UI, animation, and visual effects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while taking ownership of art asset development.
  • Assist in the integration of assets into production projects.
  • Willingness to engage hands-on with tools such as Photoshop, Maya, and Max.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and architectural principles.
  • Knowledge of utilizing diverse visual styles.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Unity3D, including lighting, material setup, animation systems, and general workflows.
  • Experience in mobile game development.
  • Familiarity with quadruped character design.

Successful candidates will work in a collaborative environment at Foxiegames. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
