Our Mission

Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services are seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Professional to support a rotary-wing platform as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical.

This role will be based at RAAF Base Townsville in North Queensland, working closely with our Australian Defence Force Customer. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining Boeing AH-64 Apache mechanical, airframe, and engine systems and associated equipment.

Technical training on the aircraft may require travel overseas or domestically to achieve Military Aircraft Type Rating for their MAML.

Responsibilities

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintenance, modification, servicing, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, components, and equipment within their applicable trade qualifications, training, competency, and AMO authorisation.

The engineer shall supervise and provide mentorship to subordinate technicians in developing their career path.

Requirements
  • Cert IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
  • DASR Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework knowledge and aviation Quality Assurance procedures
  • DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) - Category B1.3
  • Previous experience as a maintenance certifier/trade supervisor
  • A high level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with colleagues and maintain productive working relationships
  • Good knowledge of Environment, Health, and Safety procedures
