We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our organisation in delivering high-performing solutions for the NASPO Engineering Management Environment (EMERALD) database.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out local system administration duties, including providing EMERALD system reports, facilitating user access, managing and monitoring system performance, conducting systems trouble shooting, and mentoring and training users.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and accurate EMERALD system reports
  • Facilitating user access and ensuring secure login credentials
  • Monitoring and managing system performance to ensure optimal functionality
  • Conducting thorough systems trouble shooting to resolve technical issues
  • Mentoring and training users on system usage and best practices

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in system administration, particularly in complex data base systems related to aviation/engineering/technical systems management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing technical system/data management teams
  • Strong analytical and data visualisation skills
  • Experience working in organisations providing engineering or technical services
  • Excellent communication skills in technical packages, reports, written correspondence, discussions and presentations
