Strategic Submarine Capability Leader

The Submarine Capability Manager is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upgrade of Australia's Collins Class submarines.
This involves leading a team to deliver strategic submarine capability to the nation, working in partnership with the Royal Australian Navy and Industry.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team to ensure the submarine capability remains operational beyond its initial life.
- Provide governance and assurance of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program, responsible for guidance, planning, and conducting materiel and logistics-related acquisition tasks.
- Develop and maintain project ILS plans aligned to Defence policy and best practice.
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond, and provide advice.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams to achieve complex objectives.
- Strong governance and assurance skills, with expertise in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) programs.
- Ability to develop and maintain project plans aligned to Defence policy and best practice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
