Job Opportunity:

This is an exciting role that involves contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of various ecosystems, including wetlands, grasslands, and gardens. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for caring for animals and maintaining science laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve the quality of our outdoor environments
  • Undertake tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, gardening, and landscaping as required
  • Assist with designing and building garden projects when necessary
Animal Care:
  • Contribute to the general care and welfare of our animals
  • Keep accurate records of animal care
  • Provide additional support during school holiday periods
Science Laboratory Support:
  • Assist with preparing practical laboratory activities, including setup and pack-down of equipment
  • Help maintain and clean program equipment
  • Follow safe storage and disposal practices for chemicals and equipment
Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative assistance to our project officers and administration teams
  • Support with everyday clerical tasks associated with our diverse programs
  • Undertake reception duties, including answering phones and processing orders
