Job Opportunity:

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Paint Technicians to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, or coatings using spray guns or similar tools.

The ideal candidate will possess sound technical knowledge of various painting techniques and tools, ability to comprehend / apply regulatory requirements, and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, or masking as needed
  • Mix and match paint colours and finishes as per technical specifications and customised orders
  • Independently operate all kinds of spray-painting equipment in the workshop, including HVLP, airless, conventional systems, etc.
  • Apply primers, topcoats, and sealants in consistent, even layers to meet job specs
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety protocols
  • Inspect finished products for quality, making corrections as necessary
  • Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment in compliance with McKKRS protocols
  • Document paint usage and record job details for tracking and reporting purposes to the Workshop Manager
  • Work in workshop spray booths, or as directed
  • Use of PPE including respirators, gloves, goggles, and coveralls for safety compliance
  • Follow safety measures on exposure to paint fumes, dust, and chemicals

Requirements:
