Senior Structural Transmission Line Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Transmission Line Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for transmission line and substation structures.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, including wind, solar, battery storage, pumped hydro, and utilities works. You will have the chance to collaborate with a talented team of engineers and experts in the field.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and acceptable for admission as a professional engineer.
  • At least 10 years' experience in structural design work, with a particular emphasis on transmission line and substation structural design.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 7000, AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 3995, and AS 1170.
  • Experience in using computer design packages, such as PLS Tower, PLS Pole, and Development of conductor loads for transmission and substation structures.
  • Ability to solve complex technical and operational problems through a systematic approach or innovation.
