From major renewable energy projects to high voltage direct current inter country interconnectors and offshore grids, we're integrating a multitude of these solution elements to build a cleaner and more resilient energy future.
Here's what you'll need
We're seeking a Senior Principal to spearhead design for a key client project based in Hobart, Tasmania. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage the package design team, serving as the primary engineering point of contact, coordinating across disciplines and contractors. You'll drive technical oversight, ensure timely reviews and issue resolution, analyse schedules and deliverables and develop innovative engineering solutions to optimise project scope and budget. We're looking for the following
Unique Skillset Required
- Extensive experience in HVDC converter technology and large scale energy transmission projects.
- Background in tender review and contract negotiation for complex energy infrastructure.
- Expertise in project delivery tools and innovative project management approaches.
- In depth knowledge of HSE regulations and construction standards in the energy sector.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Considerable experience in energy transmission projects, with a focus on HVDC systems.
- Demonstrated leadership in large scale, technically complex energy infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
