We are seeking an Associate Governance Officer to support the Group Governance team in delivering high-quality governance services across the RAC corporate structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare agendas and supporting documents for Council, Board, and committee meetings.
  • Draft minutes and Chair's Reports with guidance from senior staff.
  • Provide administrative support for governance meetings and follow up on action items.
  • SUPPORT the organisation of the Club's Annual General Meeting and Council Election processes.
  • Maintain governance policies, charters, and statutory records, including declarations of interest.
  • Respond to member enquiries regarding governance processes under supervision.
Requirements
  • Experience in administrative support roles, preferably within a corporate or governance environment.
  • Understanding of governance processes with a willingness to further develop in this area.
  • Tertiary qualification in a business, legal, or commercial discipline.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
About the Role

We offer a competitive salary package estimated at $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as free Roadside Assistance and discounts on RAC products and services.
