About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at A Giants Early Learning Center in Brisbane North. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with intellectual impairments, mental health, and/or physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Support individuals with challenging behaviors and complex needs
  • Assist with medication administration and manual handling
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to achieve NDIS goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Minimum Cert III or higher in a relevant field
  • 12+ months of paid experience working in a similar role
  • QLD Paid Blue Card/Working with Children Check
  • PAID (P) NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • First Aid Certificate (current)
  • CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check (current and relevant)
  • Unrestricted Open QLD Driver Licence
  • Own reliable transport
  • Smartphone (iOS or Android)
