International Freight Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of air and ocean freight from point of origin to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their international shipping needs are met.
- Coordinate with carriers to arrange transportation, ensuring all necessary documents are in order.
- Assist clients with shipping options and costs, ensuring they have all necessary information to make informed decisions.
- Ensure accurate invoicing for all freight and associated charges.
- Collaborate with the managing director and other team members to achieve business goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Recent experience in international forwarding is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively manage client relationships.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
