Freight Forwarding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Freight Forwarder to manage the import and export process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have expertise in all aspects of imports and exports, including FAK operations, job registrations, lodging of SCA, invoicing, and working with shipping lines & depots.

About this Role:

  • This is a challenging and dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work professionally with day-to-day business operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Import FAK Operations: Responsible for the smooth execution of FAK imports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Job Registrations: Ensure accurate and timely registration of jobs to prevent delays and disruptions.
  • Lodging of SCA: Effectively lodge Shipping Cost Advices (SCA) to ensure seamless customs clearance.
  • Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices for services rendered.
  • Working with Shipping Lines & Depots: Establish and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and depots to ensure efficient cargo handling.
  • Working with Overseas Agents and clients: Liaise with overseas agents and clients to provide exceptional service and support.
  • All aspects of imports or Exports: Cover all aspects of imports and exports, from initial consultation to final delivery.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, including day-to-day business operations.
  • Familiarity with Import Regulations: Comprehensive knowledge of all import regulations and requirements.
  • FAK Experience: Proven experience in FAK operations, either import or export.
