About the Opportunity

This is a full-time, continuing appointment with a remuneration range of $129,036 to $148,172 per annum. The role will be based in Toowoomba or Springfield campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage employee complaints, including conflict resolution and assist in coordinating complex investigations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support case matters and disputes.
  • Support negotiation and implementation of the Enterprise Agreement.
  • Prepare high-quality written documents for senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to workplace relations improvement and leadership development.
  • Provide specialist advice on human resources policies and procedures.
  • Represent the university in external jurisdictions and negotiations.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in industrial relations, employment legislation, and human resources policies.
  • Strong communication skills, including analysis, problem-solving, consulting, and negotiation to resolve workplace issues.
  • Attention to detail, with strong analytical skills and experience in conducting workplace investigations.
  • Interpersonal skills, including building relationships and communicating with diverse individuals.
  • Organisational skills, managing multiple complex matters concurrently.
