
Public Relations Specialist

This role is central to our organisation's success, partnering with operational leaders to develop a communications plan that aligns with our overall strategy.
Key responsibilities include:- Gathering and generating content for various channels;
- Developing materials in consultation with each team to accurately reflect their services;
- Enhancing internal and external communications systems in line with our risk management protocols;
- Branding and visual packaging of education and information programs;
- Maintaining awareness of changes to relevant legislation to ensure timely adaptations;
- Identifying opportunities to increase brand awareness, community engagement, and funding alignment.
This position will be based in Toowoomba but require regular travel to Ipswich and occasional remote office visits. It is currently classified at SCHADS Level 5+, depending on qualifications and experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to generate engaging content and maintain high-quality standards;
- Strong organisational and time-management skills;
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities;
- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing strategies;
- Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field.
