Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments of worksites, functionalities, ergonomics, equipment, and homes, identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers, coordinating with clients, insurers, medical professionals, and employers to reach outcomes that are suitable for everyone involved, and creating, executing, and supervising initiatives that support injured employees in reintegrating into the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of worksites, functionalities, ergonomics, equipment, and homes to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  2. Identify and address Return to Work (RTW) barriers to ensure a smooth transition for injured employees.
  3. Collaborate with clients, insurers, medical professionals, and employers to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  4. Design and implement initiatives to support injured employees in reintegrating into the workforce.

Requirements
  1. Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy.
  2. Full AHPRA registration or ESSA.
  3. Unrestricted Australian Working Rights.
  4. A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle.
