Job Title

Data Governance and Stewardship Specialist role at a leading insurance company.

Maintain data assets, uphold data quality standards, and support regulatory and operational needs. Collaborate with teams to define and maintain data assets and uphold data quality standards.

Embed governance into solution delivery and uplift data capability across the team. Define critical metrics, assign clear ownership, and embed accountability for data accuracy and usage.

Develop and uphold data quality standards, championing processes that drive continuous improvement and ensure high levels of data integrity.

Coordinate responses to regulatory data requests, ensuring submissions are accurate, validated, and aligned with industry and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curating and maintaining a centralised library of data assets, business metrics, and definitions.
  • Designing and implementing governance frameworks.
  • Developing and upholding data quality standards.
  • Coordinating responses to regulatory data requests.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a data-related role.
  • Proven ability to represent business interests in Data Management and Data Stewardship.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at collaborating and driving data-related strategies.
