Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and strategic WHS and Wellbeing Partner to lead and drive our client's work health and safety (WHS) and wellbeing programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of employees, aligning with regulatory standards, and partnering with key stakeholders to create a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive WHS and Wellbeing strategy that meets regulatory requirements and aligns with organizational goals.
- Drive the creation and execution of health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives to maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS laws, regulations, codes of practice, and standards.
- Provide expert advice on health, safety, and wellbeing matters.
- Lead and coordinate the WHS Committee, ensuring active engagement with stakeholders and effective implementation of actions and recommendations.
- Manage cases related to work and non-work-related injuries, ensuring compassionate and efficient return-to-work processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Comcare and other regulatory bodies, serving as the primary point of contact.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in developing and implementing WHS strategies and programs. You should have extensive experience in WHS consulting or advisory roles, with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation, regulatory environments, and leading WHS practices.
You should also have a tertiary qualification in Health Science, Human Resources, or a related discipline, and be an Australian citizen with eligibility to gain a Baseline Security clearance.
