We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Occupational Health Advisor on a permanent basis in the Gold Coast area. Our client delivers high-quality medical assessments, pre-employment checks, and workplace health services to various industries.
As a key member of the team, you will conduct comprehensive workforce medicals and assessments to ensure employees are fit for work and compliant with relevant industry health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-employment/health assessments including functional capacity evaluations, drug & alcohol testing, and health surveillance checks
- Perform audiometry, spirometry, and ECGs as part of workplace medicals
- Maintain accurate health records and collaborate with colleagues to finalise compliant assessments
- Work closely with stakeholders, including Doctors and other healthcare professionals, to deliver a streamlined health assessment service
- Provide a client-centric approach to health assessments and contribute to the development of best practices
- Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety regulations
About You:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration
- Experience in occupational health or a clinical background is desirable but not essential, as training is available
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
- Excellent administration and case management skills, with attention to detail for reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
