Occupational Therapist

This role delivers high level rehabilitation clinical expertise and occupational therapy leadership within Gold Coast Health's Rehabilitation Services

The Role

An opportunity has become available for several Occupational Therapists - Senior (Rehabilitation) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Deliver high level Occupational Therapy clinical rehabilitation services across multiple and varied clinical areas
• Undertake high level, independent multi-specialty clinical duties within the Occupational Therapy department
• Apply professional judgement to a complex caseload
• Demonstrate an awareness of and ability to use data collection, KPIs, service evaluation and risk management methods

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA Registration
• While not mandatory, relevant clinical experience in a tertiary hospital within rehabilitation services and/or possession of relevant post-graduate qualifications would be highly desirable
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Driver Licence
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Temporary full time and temporary part time (two full time, one part time position, up to 12 months with possibility of extension, hrs negotiable)
• Base salary ranging from $ $ per annum, $ $69.55 per hour
