Establishing excellence in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) across the State is a critical aspect of this role.

You will spearhead quality improvements, driving excellence in teaching and learning, ensuring national standards are not just met but exceeded.

Your Impact:

  • Analyse practice data for each centre and present recommendations to State Managers on the Quality Improvement Plan practice actions for the centre.
  • Lead the practice partners to ensure delivery of high-quality and consistent practice across centres through effective coaching and modelling.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and coordination of state practice improvement teams supporting centres to lift practice through the use of Quality Rating Scales, nationally and state-accredited Early Learning Frameworks.
  • Spending most time in centres to connect with and observe teaching and learning environments of centre teams.
  • Review outcomes and effectiveness of practice interventions to improve service quality.
  • Take an active role in the State and National Leadership Teams, working collaboratively and respectfully with peers.
  • Recognise and respond to safety issues proactively and support centres to comply with all legislation that applies to children.

Salary:$95,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
