Executive Director, Aboriginal Health

- Provide strategic leadership and advice on Aboriginal health issues across the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN).
- Ensure clinical services receive the advice, support, and direction needed to deliver effective and culturally acceptable services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Lead the development of culturally safe health services and working environments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Aboriginal people and communities within South Australia.
- Provide leadership in complex multi-disciplinary settings and manage major change programs.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking an inclusive and engaging executive to fill the position of Executive Director Aboriginal Health. As a member of the Executive Team, the successful candidate will provide advice, education, and leadership across the LHN on matters impacting Aboriginal outcomes and the provision of health services to Aboriginal people.
The appointee will bring sound strategic leadership experience in the public, community, or private sectors, with a focus on improving the quality of life of the indigenous community. They will demonstrate an inclusive and engaging style in relation to Aboriginal people and issues, as well as the ability to maintain cultural integrity at a systemic and personal level.
