- Previous experience as a medical receptionist is essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in Best Practice software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- CPR certification is required for all employees.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for interacting with patients and colleagues.
- Exceptional customer service skills are vital for maintaining a positive reputation.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask are necessary for managing multiple priorities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Welcoming patients, processing paperwork, and accurately managing appointments.
- Handling phone calls, responding to inquiries, and demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
- Managing billing, receipting patient accounts, and maintaining accurate records.
- Fostering professional relationships with team members, patients, and medical staff.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the role involves:
- Reporting for doctor's pay and weekly/monthly reporting.
- Participating in monthly catch-ups with the Area Manager.
- Contributing to the development of rosters.
