We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to support young people affected by suicide and loss.

  • The ideal candidate will have specialist knowledge in suicide prevention and postvention, as well as experience delivering services to support young people.
About the Role

This is a key position within our team, responsible for leading the implementation of a national suicide prevention and postvention initiative across QLD and parts of NSW.

The successful candidate will be working closely with education leaders, government bodies, and community organisations to support the delivery of evidence-based grief and loss programs.

This role involves developing school-specific coaching and implementation plans, delivering professional learning to educators, and expanding the reach of our programs to strengthen wellbeing and resilience in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with education leaders, government bodies, and community organisations.
  • Collaborate with national partners to coordinate postvention responses.
  • Represent the organisation at stakeholder meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Consult with First Nations communities to ensure culturally responsive program delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sector collaboration to expand the reach and effectiveness of our efforts.
What We're Looking For
  • Tertiary qualifications in education, health, or a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering services to support young people.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of education and community service organisations.
  • Understanding of Aboriginal culture and values.
