Child Development Specialist

This role plays a vital part in enhancing opportunities for young individuals to participate in activities supporting their development of positive self-regard, community inclusion, and placement stability.

About the Job
  • Provide support and care to children and young people, ensuring their safety and well-being during shift hours.

Collaborate with other professionals to develop trauma-informed interventions for young individuals with complex issues. Utilize a trauma-informed approach in understanding child development and behavior.

Requirements
  • A Certificate IV or higher qualification in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Services, Community Services, or a related field.
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children's Check QLD).
  • Completion of Hope and Healing Framework training.
  • Current Queensland Drivers Licence.
  • The ability to provide two recent referees of supervisors.
