Job Overview

As a Strategic Agile Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading and contributing to insurance technology projects at Royal Bank of Canada. You will be responsible for implementing RBC's agile methodology, stakeholder management, and governance expertise to meet program goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Scrum teams to ensure strong, consistent application of Agile Leadership Capabilities through effective stakeholder and scope management, team leadership, and management of internal and external dependencies.
  • Interact with stakeholders to quickly learn business objectives and project concepts, leading the team through successful incremental deployment of value-driven solutions.
  • Oversee and manage each Scrum deliverable, including vendor-related deliverables, for quality and completion.
  • Participate in quarterly big room planning, set up JIRA boards for quarterly program increments, and manage Scrum of Scrum meetings, removing impediments, and executing sprint ceremonies across multiple Scrum teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of SAFe Agile delivery and Project Management experience.
  • Undergraduate degree with Certified Scrum Master or equivalent certification and extensive working knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Advanced Project Management skills, including plan development, scheduling methodology, project metrics gathering, analyzing, and reporting, risk assessment and quantification methodologies, cost/benefit analysis, and budgeting.
  • General management skills, including negotiating, communicating, and team building.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.

Estimated Salary: $115,000 - $140,000 per year
