Job Opportunity: Crisis Management Lead
The organization seeks a seasoned professional to lead the emergency management team, providing strategic direction and governance on crisis management, emergency response, and public information/crisis communications.
This key leadership role involves overseeing the implementation of incident management systems, processes, procedures, and tools, as well as coaching and supporting staff in emergency response roles.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to a positive safety culture, develop and support their team, and establish strong relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders.
About the Role
- Crisis Leadership: Inspire strategic direction and purpose on crisis management, emergency response, and public information/crisis communications, including governance programs and activities.
- Incident Management: Oversee the implementation of incident management systems, processes, procedures, and tools, representing the organization as an Emergency Management Liaison Officer as required.
- People and Performance Management: Demonstrate a personal commitment to a positive safety culture, develop, coach, and support staff in your team, focusing on creating positive and collaborative engagements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish strong relationships across the organization, with key internal stakeholders, and foster collaboration, teamwork, and a culture of learning.
