Legal Advisor Role

The role of Legal Advisor is a key position within an organisation, requiring the incumbent to provide specialist advice on various workplace relations topics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop high-quality information resources and educational materials that are legally accurate and accessible to all stakeholders.
  • To create plain language content for websites, web-based resources, policies, guidance, and training materials on workplace relations topics.
  • To build and maintain a legal toolkit for the organisation, including interactive web-based tools and resources.

The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills and be able to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner. They will also have advanced skills in Microsoft Office and project management.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, with experience in areas such as anti-discrimination law, commercial law, work health and safety, and labour law.
  • Relevant experience working in a legal or policy setting, with strong writing skills and ability to create high-quality information resources.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and strong project management skills, including preparing project plans, reporting against key milestones, and evaluation processes.
