Job Opportunity: Community Safety Officer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the position of Community Safety Officer in Melbourne.

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and well-being of the community by performing various duties.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Reporting instances of overhanging vegetation, hard rubbish, abandoned vehicles, and other public complaints;
  • Issuing infringements or conducting follow-ups;
  • Litter enforcement when required;
  • Animal management duties, including animal pick-up/drop-off, investigating bark complaints, and cat trapping.

Key Requirements for Success:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills;
  • Experience working as a Local Laws and Animal Management officer;
  • A genuine passion for contributing to the community;
  • A valid police check and a clean driver's licence.
