
Culturally Responsive Case Worker

We are seeking a skilled Culturally Responsive Case Worker to provide dedicated support to children, young people and their families within our Multicultural Child & Family Support Program.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with government agencies, non-government organisations and other stakeholders to deliver culturally responsive services that meet the unique needs of our clients.
- Provide casework support to children, young people and their birth families through home visits, assessments and case planning.
- Liaise with the Department of Communities and Justice and other government partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake child and family case work including assessments, planning, placement support, monitoring and reviews.
- Develop, implement and review children and young people's case plans as per OOHC policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with community members, stakeholders and partner organisations to enhance service outcomes.
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary degree in a related field such as social work or human services.
- Proven experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Negotiation strategy and techniques.
- A valid NSW drivers licence.
- Intermediate level MS Office skills (Word & Excel).
