Maximum Full-Time: Monday to Friday - no weekend work

Your RoleThis is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference. We are seeking a committed Case Worker to join our small, dedicated team. This role is both challenging and fulfilling, offering the chance to provide direct support to people in crisis and to help create long-term positive outcomes. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values empathy, client-centred practice and continuous learning.
Your ResponsibilityAssessments & Referrals: Conduct intakes, assessments and crisis responses, linking clients to internal and external services
Holistic Support: Develop and implement client-centred support plans in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
Case Management: Provide crisis intervention, ongoing support and monitoring of case plans
Outreach Support: Deliver outreach case management in the community, responding to people who present in crisis
Advocacy: Represent and support clients with government agencies, courts and service providers
Administration: Maintain accurate records in SCIS, write case notes and contribute to reporting requirements
Collaboration: Participate in daily allocations, team supervision and professional development
You Will NeedMinimum Certificate IV in Welfare (or currently undertaking tertiary studies in a related field)
Previous case work experience, ideally in homelessness, housing or community services
Knowledge of housing systems, homelessness support and crisis management approaches
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with empathy and cultural competence
Organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Sound judgement with the ability to respond effectively in crisis situations
NSW driver licence and willingness to travel within the Sydney metropolitan area (pool cars provided)
