We are seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team at Annecto, a child-safe and equal employment opportunity employer. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care services to individuals with disabilities, supporting them to live their lives to the fullest.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as housework, meal preparation, and personal care;
- Facilitate participation in community activities and appointments;
- Offer respite to carers and support participants with daily tasks;
- Assist with shopping and other daily activities;
- Work collaboratively with participants, carers, and other stakeholders to achieve individual care plans.
- Minimum availability of 3 days a week;
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities;
- Strong desire to provide person-centered care and build meaningful relationships;
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment;
- Highly professional and compassionate demeanor;
- Current police check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check;
- Current driver's license and own transport vehicle with insurance;
- COVID-19 vaccination in line with Victorian Government Public Health directions.
- Knowledge and experience in a similar industry or position;
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Care;
- Completed NDIS worker orientation module- Quality Safety & You.
