About the Team - Strategic Communications and Engagement
Our division supports the Department of Transport to deliver on the Government's transport agenda, to get people home sooner and safer and to efficiently move more goods in Victoria's thriving economy.

The division innovates with communications approaches to support organisational, cultural and behavioural change.
About the Opprotunity
The Communications and Engagement Advisor is accountable for supporting the development and delivery of Stakeholder Communications and Engagement plans for portfolio assigned within the Strategy and Policy branch.
They will utilise their excellent verbal and written communication skills to help engage council, events and industry stakeholders in support of these plans.

About You
- Experience in communications, stakeholder relations or community engagement with a demonstrated ability to prepare and implement plans in these areas.
- Ability to identify reputational and communications issues and risks as they emerge and escalate to management.
- Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and project tasks to ensure project milestones are achieved and deadlines met.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project partners and senior advisors to achieve communications goals and objectives.

How to Apply
This position requires the successful employee to provide evidence of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or medical evidence which confirms the individual is unable to receive a dose, or a further dose, of a COVID-19 vaccine due to a medical contraindication or an acute medical illness. To be considered up to date vaccinated, you must have been administered COVID-19 vaccines as determined by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI). DTP is requiring all staff to be Vaccinated and to have had Booster Vaccination (Triple vaccinated as a minimum).
Failure to comply with this condition of employment will impact your eligibility for employment in this position with DTP.
