Product Marketing Manager RoleThe Product Marketing Manager is the linchpin between our Product, Sales, and Marketing departments. This role owns all traditional aspects of product marketing, including market segmentation, product positioning, buyer personas, sales enablement, and more. As the product evangelist, you'll play a crucial role in organizing product launches and feature releases, bridging the gap between the problems our customers face and the solutions Avetta offers.
You'll be responsible for developing Sales Enablement tools, conducting market intelligence, and performing competitive analysis. You'll collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing departments to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas. Additionally, you'll understand and document our prospects' buying process, plan product launches, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
As the primary thought leader for Avetta's solutions, you'll engage in speaking engagements and written works, partnering with Content Development to create industry-relevant content. You'll also support our sales channels by developing internal tools and external collateral, and develop messaging, high-quality content, and marketing campaigns to support customer retention and sales efforts.
Requirements- 3-5 years of experience writing complex, technical sales enablement material/content.
- Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Teams and Salesforce.
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, customers, and third parties.
- Energy, drive, an appetite to learn, and willingness to work hard.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Must have previous, proven success with B2B product marketing.
- Strategic experience with Go-To-Market planning.
- 3-5 years of product marketing experience with at least 5 years' experience in a market-facing role (e.g., working with customers and prospects, competitor analysis, and market research).
- Experience marketing service-oriented technology solutions, not just products.
