Product Marketing Manager RoleThis role offers a hybrid schedule in our Newcastle office, with 3 days in-office and 2 days working from home. To be considered, candidates must reside within commutable distance and possess full working rights in Australia without current or future sponsorship.
This position is the glue that binds our Product, Sales, and Marketing departments, bridging the gap between customer challenges and Avetta's solutions. As the product evangelist, you'll play a pivotal role in organizing product launches and feature releases, leveraging market insights to drive positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our Sales and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Sales Enablement tools to empower our Sales teams.
- Conduct market intelligence to become an expert on our buyers, their buying behaviors, and key criteria.
- Perform competitive intelligence, analyzing our competitors' strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas.
- Understand and document our prospects' buying processes.
- Plan and execute the launches of new products and releases of existing products, managing cross-functional implementation.
- Act as the primary thought leader for Avetta's solutions, engaging in speaking engagements and written works, and partnering with Content Development to create industry-relevant content.
- Support our sales channels by developing internal tools and external collateral.
- Develop messaging, high-quality content, and marketing campaigns to support customer retention and sales efforts.
- Support customer visits, industry events, PR, digital, social, and 3rd party marketing.
- 3-5 years of experience writing complex, technical sales enablement material/content.
- Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Teams and Salesforce.
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, customers, and third parties.
- Energy, drive, an appetite to learn, and willingness to work hard.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Must have previous, proven success with B2B product marketing.
- Strategic experience with Go-To-Market planning.
- 3-5 years of product marketing experience with at least 5 years' experience in a market-facing role (e.g., working with customers and prospects, competitor analysis, and market research).
- Experience marketing service-oriented technology solutions, not just products.
